Who we are

  • We are a Peasant Solidarity Organization for Sustainable Development, SOPAD for short. Given its creation and its objectives, driven by the desire to fight against SOPAD believes that poverty results from social injustice and poor governance of natural resources. SOPAD aspires to have a sustained and positive impact on poverty and social injustice in its coverage area and believes that it is through the collective efforts and commitment of farmers that this that this can happen.

Our Mission

Our mission is to fight against Poverty and social injustice for sustainable development. We seek to contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of the populations of the target group by strengthening their economic and social capacities.

Our Vision

Our vision is to have a rural world free from hunger and social injustice, where all people live in peace with secure access to basic social services including Education, Health care, WASH, sustainable means of production.

Our Objective

Our goal for change is to have a rural world that enjoys its protected natural resources and whose productive capacities and access to justice are strengthened for sustainable development where all people, especially children, women and girls, have access to sufficient food in quantity and quality at all times.
